Last Breaths of Cyclist Who Died After Being Run Over by Car
Santana, Amapá, Brazil A cyclist, 30-year-old Francisco F.d.O., died on Tuesday morning after being hit by a car on the Duca Serra highway, which connects Macapá to Santana. Witnesses reported that Francisco, who was on his way to work, lost his balance and fell onto the road, where he was struck by a passing car. The impact caused severe head injuries. The Fire Department provided first aid and took Francisco to Santana Hospital, but he did not survive. The car driver remained at the scene and, according to preliminary information, showed no signs of intoxication. |

I wonder in what measure he was conscious during all that. Gasping / rasping face down in your blood with some brains coming out your nose must be quite uncomfortable. |

He, most likely, had no conscious thought process at that point. The level of shock he was in would have rendered him a vegetable. Once the accident occurred he was done. His body was still functioning at the lowest level but his brain function was nil. He never thought, “Oh fuck, I’m dying.” Your brain just shuts down in that kind of circumstance. |

Yeah, but he still moaned and I never heard someone moaning when gasping, so I figured he might be in pain and trying to "convey" it. He also kind of moves during the last video when he's on the stretcher, he moves his arms quite a lot for a braindead person, or so I thought. Thanks for the enlightenment |
