That was not what the police said. That is what a reporter said. Here is what the police liaison said in the briefing. This is a direct quote: “The driver of the vehicle exited and had a shotgun in his hand. He immediately pulled it out and pointed it at the driver of a red vehicle which was exiting the parking lot of Siegel Suites, in an apparent attempted carjacking,” Don’t go all anti-police-kill-the-pigs because of shitty reporting |

If it were me in that red car I most likely would have shat my pants...seeing a dude in a police chase stop right in front of you and then pull out a shotgun and point it at you while cops are rushing him with guns drawn....well, I'd imagine that would be pretty intense.
