What a fucked up way to die. I wonder if his lungs exploded from swallowing the cement
I don't think explode would be a good term but yes he probably died from suffocation because of the cement in his lungs...

That is not a concrete mixer, it is the aggregate feed hopper, which feeds sand and gravel to the mixing plant.
He was probably clearing a blockage and the aggregate fell onto him, possibly with the feed belt running beneath him. He was maybe working alone and no one knew he was there.
That is why, in the UK there is a safety grid on the top of the hopper to stop idiots getting in.
A lousy way to go.
