Sadly, America already had all the requisite legal mechanisms in place to redress and reform whatever alleged injustices were perpetrated against any particular person, group or minority, in both criminal and civil courts—yet the rioting militants have chosen a path of violence, instead of hiring lawyers or contacting their local Civil Rights Department, which would have prevented all this completely unnecessary bloodshed, destruction and mayhem—perpetrated against the hapless, innocent public.
The lesson to be learned here, is that there is a proper forum for the appropriate adjudication of alleged crimes, imputed discrimination and assorted grievances, id est—the judiciary.
But spoiled children throwing a nation-size tantrum cannot be expected to act as responsible adults—not since political correctness has become the de facto religion of the land.
We are therefore only reaping what has been song for decades at universities and within academia. All of this turmoil was completely unnecessary—if we only had a nation of intellectuals, instead of half-a-nation-of-brutes.
