They aren't naturally aggressive..they are highly intelligent animals, and research shows the emotional part of their brain is actually larger than a humans. It's the conditions they are kept in..like the horrible experiments of isolating a chimpanzee from it's mother But they aren't aggressive in the wild..actual neurologic testing has shown their emotional capacity is greater than a humans..so cram them in a small confined space where they can't even turn around, bring them out just for entertainment, snatch their babies away from them while they scream and lo and behold we're surprised that they killed a human??? I hope the people in charge of Sea World get cinder blocks tied to their legs and thrown in the pool with these "killers" |

Well, thank you for asking. We would say that anyone who drugs, contains, and forces Orcas to perform, has most certainly earned their deaths. Imagine a 22,000 pound male being kept in a bathtub. Females weigh around 16,000 pounds. Even captive born Orcas have been recorded singing to their familial pods at night. Heartbreaking. Sea World fought us tooth and nail about the release of the video. They thought it would "dirty" public opinion about marine parks and the amazing beings being held prisoner. But after much ado, the courts ruled in our favor, and we were allowed to release the video along with OSHA. (Who has just ruled that it is now illegal to actually get into the water with the animals.) Anyone interested in signing petitions, msg me. (IF I may post that. If not, cool)

No info? Whale name? Year? Trainer name? At least give us the year, then it would be easier to find info on this attack. Can't make out if the trainer is a male or female. Did this person die? At one point the person got right to the ledge but the whale snatched him/her.
