Should had possibly distracted whale by sticking an air horn underwater and releasing. Or some sort of sound making device for underwater that can startle any mammal or fish. I would always have a backup of some sort that I know may work in the event something like this shit happens.

The only way any humanoid was gonna survive was if Tilikum or any other orca allowed her to. The fucked up bloody, morally reprehensable butchering business of orca capture-theivery, sexual abuse (yup, you read that correctly, males are masturbated for sperm collection), extreme emotional, psych damage caused by their removal from pods that orcas stay with for life, plus the horrid cramped conditions they face after capture is a scar on human history. When this entertainment farce finally ends, I shudder to think how future generations will regard our treatment of these precious gifts from the universe.
