My advice Philovan? Save your time and your impressive knowledge base for somebody who might (a) listen and absorb it and (b) appreciate and apply it in their life. This one is a 'lost cause', and you are never going to get through to him. He probably lives in a small world with a small circle of friends and family who, up to date, have been forced to tolerate his finger-snapping "you go Girl" bullshit and faux manufactured "fierceness" - and when he gets out in the real world, Life will slap him around a little bit because of his bad attitude. At least he will want to hope that it is only 'Life' that decides to slap him around ....... I can see that with his big mouth, convoluted insults, and confrontational attitude that he'll probably end up waving a red-rag at a passing truck full of "good ol' boys" ...... who might decide to introduce him to a baseball bat, before taking him on a tour of the countryside via a tow rope. I wouldn't do that, and I dont condone anybody who would - but he will push the wrong person the wrong way one day and then your rational arguments and healing words might mean something to him. The world is an ugly place, with bad people who emerge from dark corners and do nasty things - and all the ACLU and Gay Pride Marches in the world won't change it. Let him learn the hard way. |
