If you watch the 2nd video without any context, you get the impression the citizens of China finally got woke, and realized it's not cool to just stand around and watch someone die without trying to do something to help just because they could face legal issues.

... But then you watch the first video and learn that the dude isn't some concerned bystander trying to help out, but the catalyst for the event, and not only will his life saving efforts not protect his ass from the law, he's going to get charged for killing the guy and he's going get charged for trying to save him.
