That sort of thing comes with the job. You don't know what a dojo teaches. this one teaching is clear. kill or be killed. the priest was good but was inexperienced in combat leading him to death. the black belt was less skilled but had what it takes to fight. this is the difference of combat and tournament sparing. a dancer vs a fighter. a harsh but undeniable truth. only one of them could defend him self on the streets and it wasn't the one with the most skill.
