Literally everything is a conspiracy to these people. It’s a form of denial for the brain-broken. It harkens to the big BLM movement a few years ago when anytime the cops killed someone it was related to the grand cops killing us conspiracy. Everything is connected because these small brain people see similar incidents on the internet and make the correlation that it’s all part of some plan. I blame the internet. Regular plebes cannot handle all of this information all at once and process the fact that the world is awful, full of killers and swindlers and conmen. It’s easier to believe it’s all a plan and just believe everything the conmen tell them at face value.

As sad as it is to say, we were better off when we were spoon fed information by news outlets and the government and only small groups on loons could propagate their conspiracy theories locally. Now, there’s no control over it and the masses now have instant access to crazies and conmen and just believe it all at face value. I’m not gonna say we’re doomed because I’m not a fan of old people doomsaying, but it sure feels like it. We’ll probably get past this phase in 10 years as the world seems to always right itself after phases of mass stupidity like this, because everything is a big cycle on repeat, but at the moment it’s hard to see the light at the end of this tunnel.
