Don't really know what to think of this. Both parties are to blame. It looked like the police were a little bit hasty shooting someone who was holding the rifle down with one hand while facing the other way on the phone. But at the same time, use your head, don't walk around wal-mart carrying a rifle and not think about how this would look to other passerbys.

If I was a cop and I received a call that someone was waving around a rifle in a shop, I would assume this person is hostile and has nothing but bad intentions and be prepared to fire at them.

If I saw a rifle I wanted to buy, I would take care so as not to give off the wrong idea and look threatening. Be aware of your surroundings while carrying something that looks like a real firearm.
