Re: Jeremy Lusk Motocross Fatal Stunt Jump
I'm guessing a priest touched you when you were young. Anyways, for some of the more open minded, free thinkers - it is possible to believe in God, and completely accept the laws of nature. If things like adaptation and evolution were not "real", we would be a couple of bones waiting for fossilization , because our immune systems would have stopped working millenia ago. Even Albert Einstein believed there was a creator, quoted, ""I'm not an atheist and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangements of the books, but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God." and "I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with fates and actions of human beings." Yet again, I'm not saying I'm a church going Christian, or a bible thumper.. but belief in the doctrine of a religion doesn't make God exist.. in whatever form it does.. it's the idea of intelligent design. |
