Its a dangerous sport no doubt. My legs are ruined because of racing mx not freestyle. But I expect this is going to become more common. If they arent doing more exciting, more dangerous stuff they wont win. So I expect we will see more freestylers die. Racing mx or sx usually they just end up paralyzed, but the freestyle is actually facing death on almost every run.

Its a shame it really is. Just one blip of the gas at the wrong time or one missed blip of the gas and its major wipe out! Only if he would have ditched the bike instead of trying to pull the trick off, he might have survived. But who knows whats done is done.
