I saw something like that on TV once so I will start with that and my 23+ years as an FCC licensed radio and television broadcasting engineer will be used to help me pretend to figure this out. The music was a strong radio broadcast playing through the fillings in the decedent’s teeth. The atmospheric conditions seem to be hot & tropical, similar to the island where this unique radio signal propagation event was first documented on a popular TV series in the 1960s. Today’s guy got shot with lead- a metal heavy enough that it is used to shield and contain radiation. Mere terrestrial radio broadcast signals are too weak to travel through it. The radio signal he was receiving was sufficiently attenuated by the repeatedly applied high velocity radio energy insulating pellets and the receiver quite literally fell silent. To borrow a line from the incredible Judy Tenuta, “It could happen!” |
