they should have attacked at night, and pushed the vehicle more forward so they could have assaulted the position. Don't understand why they stopped the vehicle where they did, and just took pot shots....

Probably talking about anti personnel warheads for the rpg when he is like give me a rocket for the people. I assume the thermobaric/he is for people likely has a fuse for airburst. HEAT stands for high explosive anti tank and works by using an explosively formed pennetrator so highly unlikely to kill unless direct hit.
