Just for the record, Iraq is not an Islamic state. There isn't an Islamic state at this time currently in the world and hasn't been since 1924. For there to be an Islamic state there has to be a khalifa.

I should clarify that 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' is the name of a splinter terrorist group of Al-Qaeda that seeks to turn Iraq and the Levant into an Islamic State.
