Re: Isis Members Shot Afghan Government Officials
The Taliban are Afghani, and the Isis guys are all under the control of Iran, and they hate the Taliban. So this is just an example of "Afghan voting." Those job openings aren't going to create themselves, ya know! I understand that just today, Isis blew up an Afghan military hospital as well. I think the Taliban will find Isis a lot harder to deal with than Americans. |

Re: Isis Members Shot Afghan Government Officials
Please read "Iran Sets It's Eyes On Afghanistan" at the "Washington Institute for Near East Policy". Nearly 30% of the Afghan population is Shia, and Iran has reportedly been working for the last several years to quietly infiltrate Shias into significant positions in the Afghan power structure, many as undercover agents. Iran intends to use Afghanistan as a puppet, and they are attempting to undercut the Taliban at every opportunity now. The airport blast at the Kabul Airport that killed 13 U.S. servicemen was organized and directed by Iran, to make the Taliban to look bad. Contrary to what the Trumpies were all screaming, the Taliban wanted the U.S. OUT of Afghanistan as quickly and quietly as possible, and wanted all U.S. citizens out of the country as well. If you watched the news reports, at the end of the U.S. withdrawal, armed units of the Taliban were actually going into the city, collecting U.S. citizens, and escorting them to the airport for departure. This was only mentioned a very few times in the coverage of the U.S. departure. Our departure in Afghanistan COULD have been a total bloodbath. We only had 3000 troops left in Afghanistan at the time of departure, whereas there were over 100,000 Taliban troops in Kabul ALONE. There was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that prevented them from over-running U.S. troops, capturing thousands of American citizens, and then setting them on fire in cages, like they did with foreign pilots in Iraq and Syria. You have seen that happen on this site. You can watch the videos. Imagine that being on the evening news every night for the next year or so. Those who criticize Biden for getting us out of Afghanistan ignore the fact that TRUMP is the one who signed the departure agreement, and left Biden holding the bag. Biden was smart enough to negotiate a relatively quiet and peaceful departure. Biden is the one who saw it successfully done. It could have been horrifically worse. And I mean truly, horrifically, appallingly worse. |
