Indonesian Man Killed After Being Run Over by Train
Probolinggo, Java, Indonesia. The deceased was 60-year-old Waras S., who was still alive when he was brought out from underneath the train, but ultimately died from his injuries in hospital shortly afterwards. According to his son, Waras had been suffering from depression, related to a thyroid gland disease he had been suffering since 2009. Waras had gotten surgery in 2019, but his illness did not recede. |

Not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed when they didn't pull out a mangled body. But the fact he was still intact, and even seemed alive at the end is crazy. Tough SOB  |

He was parallel with the tracks not lying horizontally which saved him from decapitation, but, he did take a good blow from several hundred thousands of pounds of moving metal to the body.  |
