When I worked for the coroner, we used to call Pedestrian vs Train accidents "Easter Egg Hunts" because we'd have to search all over for every bit of these hapless fucks after they got wasted by the chooch.

It's strange given that I grew up on & around trains (dad was a longtime engineer) & I have a track ~1/4 mile from my house but I've never thought much about how tracks are built. These don't have the lips that you see on US railways.
