Re: Indonesia: Biker Burned to Death After Collision
If it was me, I would be hoping to be killed by the impact. Then the fire wouldn't bother me. Although if all the tales are true about souls floating over the body, I would get a really bad scare by seeing all the flames as I was disincorporating.

Re: Indonesia: Biker Burned to Death After Collision
Gowa - An old man was burned to death in a traffic accident in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. The victim died because he was hit by sparks and an oil spill that had just been purchased from a gas station. "There was an accident between two motorcycle units which resulted in one person dying from fire and one person being slightly injured," said Bajeng Police Chief AKP Alhabsi in his statement, Friday (27/8/2021). The accident happened right in front of the Tanetea gas station. Alhabsi said the dead victim was identified as Haji Muhammad Rusdi Dg Gassing. The old man had just bought Pertalite fuel using a 5-liter jerry can. After that, he left the gas station on a motorbike. When exiting from the opposite direction, a motorcyclist directly hit the victim. At that time, the motorbike from the opposite direction driven by a lightly injured victim named Usman Dg Lette was traveling at high speed "At high speed, it directly hit the victim, which resulted in sparks that burned the victim. Meanwhile, the other motorcyclist, Usman Dg Lette, was immediately rescued by residents around the crime scene," he explained. The grandfather who was burned to death in the accident was a resident of Paranga Hamlet, Bone Village, Bajeng District. The victim's body has been taken to the hospital. Alhabsi said that many residents still buy fuel at gas stations by storing it in jerry cans. "It is possible that similar incidents may happen again considering that there are still many people who fill Pertalite using jerry cans," he said. |
