Indian Woman Found Hanging From Hotel Room Fan
In Purnia, Bihar state, the body of 21-year-old Nisha R. was found hanging from a fan in a hotel room by staff at the hotel. A suicide note was found nearby, blaming a lover named Raj for her decision to kill herself. Nisha hailed from Araria, a city around 50km from Purnia. CCTV footage showed Nisha and Raj - also known as Babul - entering the hotel together. However, the footage also showed Raj banging on the hotel room door, and after receiving no response, he left the premises. Reportedly, Raj's family had already arranged a marriage for him. Nisha had been pressuring him to abandon the arranged marriage, but he refused. As is usual with India, Nisha's family refused to accept that she had killed herself, and accused Raj and his family of murdering her and staging the scene. According to Nisha's father, she had been threatened with death by Raj's family if she broke his arranged marriage. The father also claimed the scarf Nisha was found hanging from did not belong to her. It has been reported that Raj and his family fled from their house shortly afterwards. |

That’s one hell of a strong ceiling fan. The company that makes them should use this in a world wide marketing blitz aimed at the depressed and suicidal. “Our fans won’t let you down”. Something like that.  |

Probably murder. She was probably a lover but he husband probably killed her because things got complicated and he was a coward.
