A 27-year-old sanitation worker, Anil Kumar, was killed in a knife attack whilst collecting garbage on duty. He suffered multiple wounds on his neck, chest, and abdomen, and succumbed to his injuries in hospital. The stabber, wearing a yellow shirt, calmly walked away from the scene and remains at large.

It is thought that Anit might have been killed in a case of mistaken identity, and that the intended target was his colleague, Gulshan, who drove the garbage truck. Gulshan was the lover of the stabber's wife, and had been informed by his lover that the stabber was looking to kill him.

Alerted, Gulshan left the scene, and it is thought that the stabber, confusing Gulshan with Anit - apparently, they bore "striking resemblances" - killed Anit.

Gulshan was meat stabbing the stabber's wife, so he proceeded with the blade stabbing. Dreadful for the other bloke.
