Yes, he did leave things pretty tidy and without making a big mess for someone else to clean up. So I forgive him for fumbling with the rope. But I STILL think he was making ONE last try at the rope magic trick that he saw online, and he decided, well if I still can't do it, I guess I can die.

And so he did.
