A 19-year-old man, Farat Ali, turned a licensed 12-bore shotgun belonging to his father on himself during a livestream, after saying the person who had hurt him "will meet their fate".

Reportedly, three children - Farat's younger sister, brother, and niece - were in the same room at the time. A few minutes before he shot himself, Farat's niece, aged five, saw him holding the shotgun and asked "Uncle, what are you doing with the gun? Who are you shooting?"
