Indian Man Hacked to Death With Sickle on Road
In Palnadu district, Andhra Pradesh state, 27-year-old Sheikh Rashid was hacked to death on the main road of Vinukonda town by one Sheikh Jilani. The assault reportedly lasted around five minutes, and Jilani continued hacking at the victim even after he fell to the floor in a semi-conscious state. By the time police arrived, Jilani had fled, and Rashid ended up dying in hospital. According to police, Sheikh and Rashid had a severe fallout over a failed real estate deal. However, political differences - Rashid was a youth leader of one of the main parties in Andhra Pradesh - have also been blamed. |
