A man, Rohit Y., brutally murdered his ex-girlfriend on the street by striking her 15 times on the head with an iron wrench in Mumbai. Eyewitness footage revealed a large crowd watching the attack, but only one person initially intervened to help the girl, 20-year-old Aarti Y., who was on her way to work when she was killed.

According to the police, the duo had been in a relationship for six years but Aarti broke up with him a few days ago. Suspecting that Aarti was having an affair with another man, Rohit allegedly killed her in a fit of rage, the police said.
