This happens in the West also, so don’t act high and mighty. India has a caste system and is very tribal. Just like you wouldn’t attack very obviously corrupt police in the West for fear of their system, it’s similar in these places. Very unfortunate for the girl though and I’m curious how India handles cases like this.
