Indian Ex-Convict Kills Two Relatives, Including Brother-in-Law, With Sickle
Kovilpatti, Tamil Nadu, India A 55-year-old man, Komu, had been sentenced to jail in a murder case, and was released a few months ago. During this period, frequent quarrels arose between him and his wife, after which his wife left him and went to stay at their son's house. Angered by this, Komu believed that his brother-in-law Murugan, and a relative named Manthiram, were responsible for his wife leaving him. He saw the duo at a bar attached to a liquor shop, and became enraged. He reportedly told them, “You are the reason my wife left me,” and then took out the sickle he had been hiding and attacked both of them repeatedly. Murugan died at the scene, whilst Manthiram died in hospital. Komu is currently in hiding. |
