A young man, Waseem, was stabbed to death in full public view following an argument with friends.

Waseem and his friends had previously been charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act for peddling drugs. Waseem was reportedly accused by his fellow peddlers of leaking information on their drug dealing activities.
