Re: India - Woman Killed By Son Of Cop
According to the police and the victim, the details are as follows. G. K. (39) from Darja Kazipet in Warangal city is working as a staff nurse at Kurapati Nursing Home in Hanumakonda. Her husband J.R. is a private teacher and they have two daughters. The assembly election polling was on Thursday. They went to vote at St. Gabriel School in Fatima Nagar around 10 am. As there was a long queue there, they came out to vote around 11 o'clock. While their bike was parked on the other side of the road, J. R. went to get the cart and she also went with him. While he was getting into the cart, a car numbered TS 03 FA 9881, which was going from Kazipet towards Dargah, hit her at high speed. As the car was already speeding and completely out of control, the car that hit her went a short distance away. In this accident, she sustained serious injuries on her head and other body parts. She died on the way while being rushed to the hospital. The person responsible for the accident has been identified as Vamsi Bhargav of Ellambazar, Warangal. His father Shankar is working as Excise CI in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Vamsi Bhargav, who is studying abroad, recently came home and has to go back in two days. It is in this background that Shankar has managed the police instead of filing a case against his son with the intention of causing trouble if an accident case is filed. The victim's family members protested in front of the Kazipet station on Friday as their complaint was ignored. Later protest was held at Fatimanagar Bridge. Heavy vehicles stopped on the Warangal-Hyderabad highway due to encroachment on the road. After protesting for about two hours, Kazipet police reached there and tried to pacify them. This led to arguments between the two sides. As the police assured that a full investigation would be done and justice would be done to the family members of the deceased, their relatives stopped worrying. yeah right. |
