India: Man Falls On Track, Hit By Train After Being Slapped
A 26-year-old man died after he was crushed between a moving train and the railway platform at Mumbai's Sion station. The tragedy, caught on CCTV, happened around 9:15 pm on Sunday when D.R. fell on the track after he was slapped by a man during an argument. Footage shows that 'D', wearing a white shirt and trousers of the same colour, allegedly bumped into Sheetal Mane (30) on the platform. A furious Sheetal is then seen hitting the victim repeatedly with her umbrella. Soon after, her husband, Avinash (35) slapped D. who lost balance and fell onto the track. As the train approached, shocked passengers rushed to the edge of the platform to save him. Many of them waved frantically - Sheetal, too, waved her umbrella - to stop the train as he unsuccessfully tried to climb onto the platform. The railway police had initially filed an accidental death report (ADR) in connection with the incident. However, CCTV footage from the station confirmed that the victim fell on the tracks after being slapped. Police later arrested the couple. |

That was such an overreaction from the couple. Like dude...all you had to do was grab yer partner, round n round, you didn't have to smack another grown man like that, damn. Then at the end of the video, everyone trying to act like they never been to a ho-down before.  |
