I am speaking only about Renee Good, the person who was shot. The only clearly audible statement from her in the clip is "that’s fine dude, I’m not mad at you." Nothing about that statement tells me anything about what happened before or why she was there.

I have already acknowledged that her wife escalates the situation in this video. That still does not establish prior ICE contact, intent, or motive on Renee’s part. I can only speak to what is supported by verifiable information. I was not present, and neither were you.

You are free to believe Renee had prior ICE contact. I am not obligated to accept that conclusion without evidence. I have seen none, and I am not aware of any other footage or reporting showing Renee engaging in this behavior at any other time.

That is the point I have been making.

Never mind, silly me. I do know why. Tribalism. Family and friends before tribe, tribe before country, with tribes based on similarity of values. What applies to my tribe doesn't apply to yours, etc., etc. There's the "Deserves to Die for Disobeying a Lawful Order When Blocking a Road" tribe and the "Doesn't Deserve to Die for Disobeying a Lawful Order When Climbing Through a 'Door Lite' Window" tribe, and Renee Nicole Good belonged to the former.

100% of my point is that based on the statements made on video by both wives and you're corroborated statement of what they said, there's no possible way those comments did not follow from previous discourse... period

You are closed to any alternative perspective, regardless of actual evidence provided. You treat your own views as inherently correct, and anyone who disagrees is automatically dismissed and deemed less intelligent.

I took time before expressing my view specifically to avoid jumping to conclusions. I researched this situation extensively and spent hours fact checking the available information. I have cited nearly everything I have posted that is specific to this case, as well as the Pretti case. I am not interested in narratives that feel convenient or emotionally comforting. I am interested in what can actually be supported by evidence.

Perhaps these are some of the reasons I am a moderator here. You would have to ask Chris directly. You already said you were going to email him about me. If you have not already done so, I strongly suggest you follow through. Continuing to publicly air grievances about moderators or how Chris chooses to run his site is not appropriate. Still.
