Apparently you dont watch much of these kinds of videos. Vehicles themselves have long time been considered deadly weapons. I don't know why everyone is so surprised by this latest example. Cops shoot people using cars as weapons on the daily.

There's a recent example right where I live where a civilian was charged with assault deadly and murder for using only a car as the weapon. It's not just cops...

It doesn't matter if it is polling a presidential candidate or whether people think the sky is green or blue. My personal feelings on ANYthing are utterly irrelevant to this conversation. It's weird that you keep referring to my political stance when it has no bearing on the efficacy of polling. Polling itself is not intrinsically a partisan tool.

Neither is it a perfect tool. It is, in its current state, a less useful one than it was 15 years ago. I explained the reasons for that. Nowhere did I indicate or cede that it was, as you said, 'usually wrong.' It is still a useful tool especially with a neutral poll that is not commissioned and/or conducted by a specific political party. It still provides useful information if you chase down the metrics and data then parse it for yourself.

Just like all the halfwits posting links in this thread from garbage agencies like FOX or CNN, if you want to get useful data from a poll, you verify it for yourself and adjust your expectations accordingly. Millions of people just regurgitating mainstream media outlets (or fringe media outlets for that matter) and not conducting any independent verification on anything is a large part of why we're where we are at today. Polling is no different.

I 100% agree with you when it comes to polling. Who conducts it particularly when its media the result is always biased because even though they allege its unbiased they are asking “their audience” and its “their audience “who will either answer the polling questions or tell them to fuck off depending on whose asking the questions because the way the media conducts itself today down here they are far from unbiased”.

The ABC here - tax payer funder national broadcaster is clearly biased to the left. On the other hand Sky News (Fox) is clearly to the right.

The other 3 major free to air TV stations when they run their news at least attempt to “appear “to be unbiased but I believe they too lean to the left in their coverage.

They are all in their little camps. Much like our population down here now is. The center is crumbling. Finger pointing to the left or to the right is the modus operandi.

When it comes to elections here voting is compulsory. You vote or get fined. Problem is many just walk in get their name marked off and walk straight out. Fine is avoided or you get the useful idiots voting for whomever without knowing what they stand for. …again fine avoided.

I can never understand the mindset of those who don’t care enough about our country to make an informed decision but then in some respects many here on both sides of politics are habitual liars or incompetent or just in it for themselves so in some respects I understand their mindset.

Polling here is regularly conducted. It sometimes gets it right but not always. The current Federal Govt just got in with 34% of the vote. The Opposition got 30%. The rest voted for minor parties or put in informal votes. The polls called the winner right that time.

36% of the population threw their vote away in some respects. I happened to be one of them. I voted for One Nation but what is happening here now according to polling is One Nation is rising. Its now overtaken the main opposition party (conservative)

One Nation stands for industry and jobs for Aussies, anti-Mass immigration, thorough screening and assimilating new immigrants, banning the Burqua, anti-renewables and protecting the right of free speech and gun owners are their main platform.

The Bondi massacre has changed us forever and hopefully the polls are a true indication of it. But time will tell I guess
