I hear what I believe are 3 shots from 0:41-0:43 of the video recorded by ICE Agent Jonathan Ross. However, a friend who knows firearms better than I do has told me:

FRIEND: "There wasn't time to fire more than 1 round. Anyway, I'm sure the investigation report will be released showing only 1 round fired. I've fired a lot of guns and it would be impossible to fire 3-4 rounds in that time period under that pressure (he was just hit by her car). You haven't fired guns before. There is recoil and it takes a short time for the action to cycle. Try doing that off balance after being hit by a car. Not likely. Also only one bullet hole visible. How do you fire 3 rounds in one second at a target a couple of feet in front of you and hit once and miss twice? The first sound is the gunshot. The next two sounds are the cell phone bumping into something. That is my best guess."

Is there any proof (or strong evidence) that 3 shots were fired and the next two sounds were not only the cellphone bumping something? Or is it just assumed the 2 following sounds are gunshots?

I just searched online and there is evidence his sidearm is a Glock 19 MOS, which ICE was switching all of its agents to by 2026. The Glock 19 MOS supposedly does not have a fully automatic mode so firing three rounds would still require 3 trigger pulls.
