As far as rhe name Steve Grove, I heard last night that name was a mistake. Unless you've heard it somewhere official. The story I heard was it's actually the name of an editor for some local paper that ran one of the first stories on it. Somehow got mixed in.

This is a shitty situation that could've been completely avoided. ICE is already on edge for obvious reasons. And she could have just minded her own damn business. It definitely isn't what I heard explained on the podcast, though. They made it sound like she was going full throttle trying to run them over. Clearly that was not the situation.

I do not want flames for this but here's my OPINION. Not conclusion. First, she had no business fucking around trying to stop law enforcement. As much as it seems she was fleeing when she was shot - I am on a huge gray fence whether she was turning right and heading away... OR....momentarily heading for the agent until she turned the wheel. I think the firing agent reacted too soon.

A large part of me leans to the former and a large part of me says the agent fired based on intended trajectory (the other agent) but her wheels went right and she fled away.

That being said - the wounds that ended fatally may or may have not had something to do with her departure.

I don't view emotion as an inherently negative trait, it has its evolutionary uses. It's there for a reason, in my opinion emotions assist in raising children and having strong bonds with them, as well as survival. I cried last month when I picked up my son from the airport because I missed him a lot.

The problem is what happens when you mix emotion and trying to think rationally about something. I will at times cry at movies... but when I'm looking at something real and try to understand it, you can't involve "what it makes me feel like" lest you look utterly retarded to anyone objective in the room.

Why are you even rationally excusing murder? Humans have emotions, someone died! Someone that shouldnt have. The woman was aggressively approached by known assailants, she was trying to escape. The man she supposedly ran over, the one that shot her, stepped in front of her car from the right while she was engaging and fleeing a terrorist on her left. She couldnt have known he was there because a second before he wasnt.

Grow some empathy for christs sake.
