Yes, that's right, and sometimes they don't eat their victims right away but stuff them somewhere for a future meal. There is a fascinating survival story of a man in Florida who was dragged under by a croc and given the "death roll". He went limp and faked being dead while holding his breath (He was a swimmer/diver and could do this for a long time.) Figuring him for dead the croc then stuffed him under a bank for a future meal. After a safe interval the man walked away. One disappointed croc.
