Re: Hotel Security Guard Beats Oldest of Two Drunk Brothers to Death
And that testimony would carry zero weight with a jury once they saw the video evidence of the bouncer continuing to assault the man after he was on the ground. It's pretty obvious after a bit of review that it was the kick to the back of the neck that did the man in, and the damage to the brain stem and/or spine would be pretty obvious during an autopsy. The hit the guy took to the front of the head when he hit that wall *was* a pretty hard hit, but it wouldn't have been enough to kill him given the force and location of the trauma. Of course, that's assuming that it ever went to trial. If Russia's justice system is anything like ours, the bouncer most likely pled down once the prosecutor put a deal on the table. What really gets me about this video is that the brother that lived is chiled out enough to let the bouncer handle the situation afterwards. That tells me that aside from being loud drunk jackasses having a good time, these two guys weren't causing anywhere near enough trouble to warrant the bouncer's excessive aggression. I wonder if he would have acted differently had he known that his brother was dying/dead at that very moment. |

He was dealing with 2 aggressive people, if he fucked up he could have got seriously injured himself, so he has to do as much damage as possible wherever these opportunities arise in the fight. I've seen people get some serious kickings in the past, then get up from the floor covered in blood and continue dishing it out. It's not a game. It is life and death. So be sure in what you do. |

Re: Hotel Security Guard Beats Oldest of Two Drunk Brothers to Death
Oh please. They both went down like a bag of leaves after the bouncer threw the first punch. The only one of the three who made this incident "life or death" was the bouncer when he 'roided out and kept kicking and beating on a man who was clearly neutralized (and then some). The only thing that bouncer was "sure of" was that he didn't want to just do his job; he wanted to take out some of his own personal frustrations by getting some free licks in on a disabled target. He pulled a bitch move, plain and simple. |

Maybe the kick to the back of the neck? Don't know why I kept waiting for him to check his pulse what with all the jostling of the head indicative of superior first aid training..... |
