I have no reason to believe that this guy meant to harm the other guy this seriously. To me it seems like a little wrestling match. I've taken part in some of them in the past with my friends when we've had a bit too much to drink. The fact that he immediately started to try help the guy is a clear sign of his true intentions. He doesn't deserve to ro in prison for the rest of his life.

Death was definitely not the goal of the dude. I agree his quick cpr upon noticing dude was out makes me think so. Definitely manslaughter but probably involuntary.

It is a crushed windpipe, you can tell with the sounds and difficulty breathing he is having. Looks like somehow his neck twisted so bad it sheared or tore somehow.
