To hell with living after something like that. I would leave a note thanking the doctors for piecing me back together well enough for me to be able to kill myself afterwards. I always feel bad for folks who get horribly disfigured in such a manner, especially the failed shotgun suicide types. There they were already depressed and lonely enough to want to off themselves, and then they mangle their faces and wind up with an even slimmer chance at acquiring meaningful human companionship. It's true what they say: it could always be worse. |
