Cardiac muscle is the only muscle in the body that can produce it's own electrical impulses. This means that the heart muscle will continue to try to beat until hypoxia (lack of oxygenation of the cells by blood from the lungs) sets in and the heart muscle is no longer able to produce an electrical impulse and it is no longer able to contract due to fatigue and cell death from lactic acid build up combined with lack of oxygen from no blood flow in the cardiac arteries. All in all, the heart is an amazing organ and this video shows this in a very neat way. Great post! |

yeah its basically the natural remedy to a cardiac arrest, his upper heart is trying to find a rhtyhm. he had a healthy heart.
