Hearts are pretty durable. If you remember that Japanese guy who got a huge dose of radiation and they kept him alive for 83 days while his body disintegrated, literally dissolving him into his bed, and at the inquest they found his heart was normal and undamaged. Somehow it did NOT respond to the radiation that burnt up the rest of his body. I wonder what special mutation it has that allowed it to do that?  |

I had always assumed that heart removal would need to involve " multiple hose cuttings", but this is the second time I have saw that in DR. Do you suppose those suffering brain ejection are thinking "oh shit, where's my body?" even for a second??? now I REALLY believe all those indian movies where they grab the dudes heart out.
