~ I don't think a helmet would have saved him.
Everyone knows the truck is too heavy.
~ The biker guy got clipped because he wanted to get out of the way of the truck, so he tried to let it pass by moving into the opposite direction lane, bad idea, because then he had to choose between colliding with another biker, or getting run over by the truck. We know which one he chose to do.
~ That road is too narrow to be safe, for bikers & for that kind of truck to be on the same road.
