I had to rewind and watch it a few times but to me it looks like the cop did what I think is called a pit maneuver and that's what forced the vehicle into that truck.

Nah. Just the angle. The cop never came close. It looks like he's gaining at 40 mph faster than the victim, but no damage to cop car corner. |

Also, note panic skid marks in a straight line. A PITted car spins out. I did that once on a too-fast corner approach and found that my cheap Chinese tires left beautiful black stripes and slowed me down not a whit, leaving me at a sharp curve going straight and totalling my car and breaking my back. I now have ABS and decent tires. Sorry, no pics. |
