A motorcyclist died after crashing into a tree in a single-vehicle accident on South Tangerang. The victim had initially visited a nearby grocery store to ask the owner about a repair shop's operating hours. He then rode off toward Vila Dago, but returned five minutes later at a high speed and crashed into a tree and died at the scene. The victim's body was subsequently taken to the Regional General Hospital. The victim was a mechanic who was test-riding the vehicle. Preliminary indications suggest the victim was a mechanic adjusting a customer's vehicle when the throttle cable got stuck, preventing the speed from being reduced.  |
