He Jumped from a Burning Highrise
Happened today in Slovakia. There was an explosion of natural gas, probably because a botched repair of the gas piping in the 12-story highrise. There are 5 casualities at the time of writing.   |

Cameraman had horrible aim. That guy landed no where near his feet. Feel sorry for the guy. Like 9/11, decide to burn to death or jump to your death. |

That's a horrible choice to make. You know you're going to die either way. I wonder how much time people in that situation spend thinking about their loved ones and their own pending death versus how the death is going to happen. It's not something I'd wish upon anyone.

That was the horrible part on 9/11. We collectively put ourselves in that position. Which do you choose? Decades of superhero/action movies had us subconsciously waiting for that hero to arrive and save them. But we consciously knew that wasn't going to happen. A two hour horror story played out before our eyes. |

That crowd and reaction is rarely seen. Genuine emotion and empathy for those burning (or jumping) to their deaths. Bravo unknown carers, bravo.

Jesus shit, that was a blast! Look at all the debris tossed a good distance from the building. Natural gas? Fuck that, this was a Poppin' Fresh dough cylinder explosion done by the Pillsbury Doughboy after its conversion to Islam. Many windows on the building are blown out.
