The knot in the noose slipped to the front of her head, causing her to die slowly from strangulation. The knot of the noose was in the usual place on the men (to one side, near either ear) cause instant death by breaking the neck

the woman was struggling cus i think she wanted 2 break her neck - so she cud die faster instead of being chocked slowly. in medevil times family members would usually rush over to those being hung and pull on ther legs to break there neck so that they could die quickly
