Sport-Bike to the Face

Franco Uncini And Wayne Gardner collide During a race in 1983.
He did not die, but most find it a miracle that he was not killed that day.

"In 1983, he was severely injured at TT-Assen (The Netherlands), when he fell off his bike and was struck in the head by competitor Wayne Gardner's bike. He went into a coma but, eventually recovered. He retired from motorcycle competition after the 1985 season."

Re: Sport-Bike to the Face

Very luck guy, probably didnt feel a thing at the time.

Most spectacular crash was when Shinya Nakano's back tire exploded at around 200mph, and he walked away without serious injury.

I tried really hard to compile all the deaths in Moto Gp and other events... but they are either not filmed or have been removed. The only ones I found were already posted.

Nothing embeds and I dont like downloading from the Net as a virus wiped out my hard drive a while back or I would have posted some myself, I had footage of V.Rossi coming off track right in front of me but that got lost with everthing else on my PC.

Re: Sport-Bike to the Face

He was so in a hurry to get off the track that he didn't look to the left what was coming.
Lucky ending after all for him.
