On Thursday, Patricio I, who worked in a truck company, was reported missing and it was later discovered that he had been kidnapped in his vehicle.

This Saturday morning, after the search, they located the truck in the capital of the republic, Quito, and inside it the body of Patricio I.

After the incident, the transporters and community members managed to detect the suspects, and one of them was taken to Quito, and the other was taken to the community of Santa Isabel, where the community dragged him from the hill to the central park and later they lynched him and hung him from the railing next to the painting of Eloy Alfaro.

José Eloy Alfaro Delgado (25 June 1842 – 28 January 1912) often referred to as "The Old Warrior," was an Ecuadorian politician who served as the President of Ecuador from 1895 to 1901 and from 1906 to 1911.
