Hanged Himself, Using a Nylon Rope, to a Wooden Beam Next to the House
Mr. K. D., (46), used a nylon rope to tie himself to a wooden beam next to the house until he died. The body is found with drooling mouth with a dry tongue. He is wearing a blue plaid shirt with long sleeves, denim shorts and farmer boots. According to preliminary investigations no signs of violence are found on the body so suicide is highly suspected.

I wonder why the body doesn’t try to get on it’s feet when they hang themselves so close to the ground... it must take some kind of determination of the mind to stop that.

From what I have heard, most of the flipping and flopping (the 'Spandau Ballet' )comes from the asphixiation where the oxygen supply is cut off and the carbon dioxide level builds up. Another way to achieve death by hanging is to cut off the blood supply to the brain. This way, the subject simply passes out and never regains consciousness and there is not a flip/flop auto-reflex. |

Living in such conditions I understand him fully why he took the decision to end his life.
