That's the driver, his hand is there. The impact threw their meat sacks over in that direction, plus I think the passengers head is still attached though just hanging in the jackets chest region like the jacket rode up the body somehow. Maybe hooked up on impact then his body weight shifted him after so slid him back into that obscure position.
